2024: Sting performed at the Germania Insurance Super Stage ahead of the F1 Grand Prix in Austin, USA.

2019: Sting performed at AccorHotels Arena in Paris, France. He was wearing a sling at this, and several other shows, after hurting his shoulder and did not play bass.

2015: Sting performed at the NRK telethon in Oslo at an event raising funds for the Rainforest Foundation.

2011: 'Sting: The Best of 25 Years' was released in the USA.

2008: Sting and Trudie were honoured in Los Angeles at 2008 Oceana Partners Award Gala for their work with the Rainforest Foundation for which they have raised more than $25 million with their benefit concerts since 1989.

2004: Sting and Trudie were guests at the 'Old Vic New Voices' launch by the Old Vic Theatre at New York's East 13th Street Theatre on October 18.

2000: Sting performed at Castle Hall in Osaka, Japan.

"I had never seen a play or a musical of any description until I was much older. But my mother was a showtunes fanatic. We had all the albums in the house - 'South Pacific', the entire Rodgers and Hammerstein cannon, 'West Side Story', 'My Fair Lady'. So, I would listen to these records and love them."
